30th Kreuzberg Festival (Bergmannfest)

The Kreuzberg Festival, formerly known as the Bergmannstrassenfest, boasts a rich history dating back to 1994. Over three summer days each year, this neighborhood celebration in Kreuzberg embodies peaceful coexistence across generations. Visitors to the Bergmannstrassenfest on Kreuzbergstrasse can anticipate performances from over 30 bands across three stages. The stages are set at Mehringdamm, and along Kreuzbergstrasse at Katzbachstrasse and Grossbeerenstrasse. The festival promises a vibrant mix of music genres including World music, Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Trance, and Hip Hop. Scheduled for 2024 are acts like Northern Lights, Mi Solar, Mitsune, RockAntrieb, Dave Goodman, Bettman, DJ Mahmoud Fadl, Rio Sierra, Zazie de Paris, Black Lemons, Ajam Quartet, and Brennholz Bluesband. The Kreuzberg-Festival, previously known as Bergmannstrassenfest, transforms Bergmannstrasse into a cultural hub of jazz and music annually. Alongside diverse culinary offerings, the musical program delights the senses. Since 2019, the renamed Kreuzberg Festival has relocated to Kreuzbergstrasse near Viktoriapark, continuing its legacy of music, culture, and community spirit.
