Christopher Street Day (CSD)
We served our traditional Nepalese flavors at the Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade, celebrating equality, love, and diversity. It was amazing to be part of such a vibrant event!
We were thrilled to be a part of the 46th annual Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Berlin, one of the biggest and most celebrated LGBTQ+ pride events in the world. On July 27th, 2024, the streets of Berlin came alive as hundreds of thousands of people from all corners of the globe gathered to celebrate equality, love, and diversity. As food truck owners, we had the honor of serving our traditional Nepalese street food to festival-goers, who enjoyed a vibrant day filled with colorful parades, music, and a powerful sense of unity. The CSD parade, which starts at 11:30 AM from Leipziger Straße near Spittelmarkt, drew an impressive crowd with around 75 floats representing different groups and organizations. The parade symbolized the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community. After the opening ceremony, the parade moved through key streets like Potsdamer Platz, Nollendorfplatz, and finally reached the iconic Brandenburg Gate by 4:00 PM, where a closing ceremony took place until midnight. The event brought together diverse people united in their desire for love, freedom, and human rights. While the streets were alive with joy and celebration, we were there to offer our bold and flavorful Nepalese dishes, adding a delicious international twist to the festivities. The energetic atmosphere and the spirit of inclusivity made this event an unforgettable experience, not just for us, but for everyone involved. We are grateful to have been part of this historic celebration and look forward to joining again next year to continue supporting the LGBTQ+ community and serving our delicious dishes to such a diverse and welcoming crowd.
@momohaus CSD Berlin 2024 Vlog We had an amazing opportunity to sell our Nepalese street food in front of the Brandenburg Gate at the CSD Festival in Berlin. Running a food stall is always challenging, and this time the weather wasn’t on our side, which significantly impacted our business. However, business is about both losses and profits, and we’ve learned a lot from this event. We’re committed to continuing with our stall. Thank you to everyone who visited us, and a special thanks to our hardworking team. Our food trailer is still available at Breitscheidplatz Berlin (Kudamm). In celebration of our 1st anniversary, we have special offers, so don’t forget to visit us.
