We celebrated **Grünau’s 275th anniversary** by serving our tasty momo to the visitors. The historic atmosphere and festive spirit were the perfect backdrop for our unique flavors! Grünau, founded in **March 1749** by three Palatines along the beautiful **Dahme River**, originally called **"Grüne Aue,"** has a deep-rooted history. Over the years, the area thrived, with significant developments like the arrival of a railway station in 1866 and a steamboat pier, turning it into a popular excursion destination. By the early 20th century, Grünau’s infrastructure expanded with the installation of the first waterworks in 1905, followed by gas and electricity networks in 1908, which solidified its standing as a suburban villa in Berlin's southeast. Grünau’s cultural heritage was further enriched by the presence of renowned post-war resident Stefan Heym. The anniversary celebration honored this legacy, showcasing a rich timeline of Grünau’s evolution, beautifully documented by **Helgunde Hentschel**. At this festive occasion, we brought our Nepalese flavors to the heart of Grünau, offering **momo** to the crowd and celebrating this milestone in a uniquely delicious way.
